A member residing in Egypt had a severe cardiac condition and was admitted to a local hospital. The decision was immediately taken to contact BUPA International to arrange medical emergency evacuation to the UK.
The member was flown privately to a hospital in the UK, accompanied on the flight by a doctor and nurse. In the UK the member received open heart surgery and after a period of recovery the member returned to Egypt on a scheduled flight.
